Case Study

Royal Conservatoire of Scotland

We partnered with the conservatoire to deliver a full digital communications strategy across all channels.

The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland

The Project

The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) wanted to raise both their profile and the awareness of the academy in an effort to recruit more students, with those of postgraduate and international background the main focus.

To achieve this, they sought to improve their search engine rankings and online visibility to enable them to better reach this target audience and also develop ways of engaging and communicating with these potential RSAMD course applicants.

They were also looking for a digital communications strategy to help them re-connect and re-engage with alumni online, so that they could be kept informed about RSAMD news, activities and events, as well encourage increased levels of membership and donations.

Zen was appointed to optimise RSAMD’s website for improved search engine visibility; it was soon discovered that they were struggling with an old Content Management System which was holding them back in this area, so we made some adjustments to help better optimise their site.

Other services provided included custom SEO landing pages, copywriting, both on and off page SEO services as well as consultancy and implementation

The Results

By doing appropriate keyword analysis with industry leading tools we managed to optimise the RSAMD website to the level required.

Our work helped increase traffic to the RSAMD site, raised conversions and also greatly improved their search engine rankings.

Princes Trust Zen worked with Prince's Trust designing two mobile apps as well as conducted UX interviews and testing with young people enrolled in the program.
