They required a strategy to increase the recognition of the blowers with the Howden Brand.


The Project

Established over 150 years ago Howden has grown to become a worldwide organisation in designing, engineering and supplying air and gas handling equipment. Having recently expanded their business by acquiring the world famous Roots Blowers they required a digital strategy to increase the recognition of the blowers with the Howden Brand. 

The Zen Agency decided to implement a PPC strategy in order to increase the awareness of the product which was being offered by Howden. 

We started by conducting extensive keyword research using industry leading tools and techniques. We complied a master list of proposed keywords which we then worked collaboratively with the client to trim down.

This left us with a list of targeted keywords which were relevant to the roots blowers. From there our marketing team created a full PPC account with segmented ad groups and match types.

We created ad copy relevant to each specific ad group and landing page to ensure our quality score remained high and CPC remained low.


The Results

The fully integrated strategy was a success and allowed Howden to grow beyond their initial targets.

The targeted traffic acquired from the paid PPC campaign led to a significant increase in the enquiries received from the Howden website

Princes Trust Zen worked with Prince's Trust designing two mobile apps as well as conducted UX interviews and testing with young people enrolled in the program.
