A Global Intranet & Extranet Platform for Global Brands
Chivas Brothers came to Zen looking for a way to effectively streamline their existing digital platforms. Chivas had a number of legacy communications channels in place that they needed to consolidate in order to provide clear and consistent messaging across their global brands to both their customers and stakeholders.
Zen consolidated these different channels into one site and magazine that provided filtered content depending on the Users’ profile to provide information globally to Chivas and Pernod Ricard employees as well as members of the public. The majority of users were using mobile devices and accessing the website via tablet, as a result the site was built with priority optimisation capabilities for tablet users.
This was developed on the Umbraco platform and included single sign-on and permission access to areas within the site. This provided a user-friendly experience for users as well as to update for a variety of content to be added including images, video and interactive content.
We worked closely with the team at Pernod Ricard to ensure:

- Full training was provided for all
- Multi-device functionality including
tablet to accommodate mobile users
and future proof design
Ultimately Zen delivered a 3 stage intranet system on Umbraco that allowed users to view content based upon their access status (staff, partners, customers). The system was integrated into Chivas' wider SAML2 single sign on system so users existing accounts would be supported. This included all Chivas & Pernod Richard employees across the globe.
