The Zen Agency worked with Business Stream the water company to build their own intranet system which was built on Umbraco. This system has a single sign on which allows employees to access a variety of different pages/services from the one log in.

The Zen Agency worked with Business Stream the water company to build their own intranet system which was built on Umbraco. This system has a single sign on which allows employees to access a variety of different pages/services from the one log in.
Working with the Business Stream team, Zen carried out a needs and requirements workshop, user experience and workflow testing with the client. This led to a design process working together to produce a modern easy to use system. All work was branded working with the Business Stream brand guidelines.

The Results
The intranet was built to W3C standards to ensure it looks and works the same on all web browsers, The intranet works for over 800 people over a number of different facilities and locations, even working from home!. The system has a complete directory of people including names, addresses, contact details etc. This software also gives the facilities to distribute the latest information and allows for internal communications.
Unfortunately because the information and data is purely internal there publicly sharing statistics would not be appropriate. However, we met all of Business Stream's requirements for the project.
This project proved to be very similar to our work with Turning Point Scotland making their intranet which was executed on a larger scale and was also built on Umbraco.
