The Project

A1 Toys one of Scotland’s leading retailers of action figures, collectables and comics required help with their E-Mail Marketing to support the My Little Pony brand. 

Approaching Christmas time they had a number of exclusive release toys which they required to promote and build excitement around. 

After attending a My Little Pony convention, A1 toys had a whole host of names and emails which they had captured, The Zen Agency worked with A1 Toys to segment the data into 3 different lists.

Each list was going to offer a My Little Pony discount to the customer, these ranged from 5% to 20%. Using the Magento platform which the A1 Toys website was on, we generated unique discount codes for each person which would be implemented into the stunning template which we designed.

The Results

After designing and segmenting the lists, we successfully merged each person to their unique discount code. Unique landing pages were created within the website which would display the My Little Pony collection that the users could use their discount on.

The E-Mail was sent out through the Mailchimp platform and received an open rate of 40% as well as a click through rate of 20% to the A1 Toys landing pages.

Princes Trust Zen worked with Prince's Trust designing two mobile apps as well as conducted UX interviews and testing with young people enrolled in the program.
