Video Production for Waverton Investment Management at the Scottish Game Fair
Waverton Investment Management is an independent firm providing tailored investment solutions to private individuals, charities, and institutions. With offices in London, Edinburgh, and Glasgow, they are known for combining a strong heritage with a highly personal approach. Ahead of their sponsorship of the Scottish Game Fair, Waverton approached Zen to create a piece of video content that would represent their values, strengthen brand visibility, and provide a meaningful glimpse into how they connect with their audience.
Bringing the Brief into Focus
The primary aim was to create a short video that could be shared across Waverton’s social channels, particularly LinkedIn. It needed to capture the firm’s presence at the Scottish Game Fair while also offering insight into their approach and philosophy. The setting was important, but the tone and message had to remain consistent with Waverton’s broader communications. The final video would be part brand positioning, part storytelling, and part on-the-ground event capture.
Producing with Purpose
Zen began by working closely with Waverton’s marketing team to map out the creative direction. This involved developing a detailed storyboard and plan for the shoot, ensuring the filming would capture both the environment of the Fair and the brand’s personality.
On the day of the event, our team filmed across Waverton’s stand and surrounding areas, capturing a blend of real-time audience interaction and considered interview content. A filmed conversation with Sasha Dabliz, Head of Marketing, provided a natural narrative thread, offering a clear articulation of Waverton’s values, client focus, and reason for being at the event.
Post-production was handled in-house by Zen. We edited the content into a sharp, engaging piece that felt elegant and authentic, suitable for digital distribution and long-term use across Waverton’s channels.
