How we bottled Lambay’s island legacy into a microsite as exclusive as their 20YO.
Lambay Whiskey’s Castle Prestige 20YO release called for something as rare and refined as the whiskey itself. At Zen, our role was to design an exclusive microsite that felt like uncorking a bottle of something truly special, revealing heritage, craft, and island-born character with every click.

Lambay Whiskey is a boutique Irish whiskey producer shaped by the elements of Lambay Island, just off the Dublin coast. With a focus on small-batch production and cognac-cask finishes, the brand embodies craft, care, and coastal provenance.
To mark the limited release of their 20YO Castle Prestige edition, Lambay partnered with Zen to build an immersive microsite. The goal was to give collectors more than just a bottle; they needed an experience that captured the essence of the island and the whiskey that bears its name.
Lambay’s ask was rooted in exclusivity. The site needed to feel like a secret shared only with bottle owners: a digital speakeasy, unlocked by QR code. This experience was intended only for those who owned the bottle, providing them with something personal, private, and worth savouring.
We worked alongside Lambay Whiskey, Lewis Moberly, and Black Copper Design to bring this vision to life. The result was a one-of-a-kind site accessible only via a QR code printed on the bottle. A passcode opened the door to a rich, atmospheric exploration of Lambay Island, the true home of the brand.
