Zen to develop SFA Coachworld social network site
01 Oct 2012
The Zen Agency is delighted to announce that we have been chosen by the Scottish Football Association to develop an online social networking resource for the football coaches.
The ‘CoachWorld’ website will combine social network functionality with coaching resources and tools to support thousands of grassroots and professional football coaches, volunteers and club leaders in Scotland, giving them access to a huge library of SFA-endorsed football drills and sessions. Premium subscribers will be able to create, save and share coaching drills and sessions plans, using a bespoke ‘chalkboard’ app.
All members will have the ability to build their own profiles, engage in forum discussions with other coaches, create friend networks, send direct messages and rate and leave comments on others’ sessions, while SFA coaches and staff will be available online to help forge stronger lines of communication with the Scottish coaching community.
“On responding to our brief, Zen were personable, solution driven and most importantly on budget, said Kayleigh Grieve, Scottish FA Digital Media Manager on the appointment of the agency. “We require them to work closely with our in-house digital team and our preferred designer and from the outset they have been most accommodating in making this relationship work”.
“The site we are developing in conjunction with the agency will go a long way in helping the Scottish FA achieve one of its major corporate goals, the establishing of a true coaching community within Scotland”, she added.
