Mackie’s Crisp’s distinctive new website launches Mackie’s exciting new salty snack product, bursting with user-generated content.
With the launch of exciting new snack product Mackie’s Potato Crisps as part of a joint collaboration between Mackie’s of Scotland and potato growers Taypack, Mackie’s of Scotland required a new website to showcase the new range of Mackie’s Potato Crisp flavours.
The new Mackie's Crisps website maximises brand awareness, online presence and interaction with consumers.
After conducting a competitor analysis of the quality crisp market, we presented our ideas for a website that would be relevant to the quality of the product and crisp flavours and involve consumers. Our concept was for an almost entirely user-generated content website based on consumer suggestions where users can post their own recommendations and photographs.
The newly launched website is about making associations with other traditional Scottish quality food products and events based on consumer suggestion and a focus on the Mackie’s Crisps philosophy or ‘The Mackie’s Way’ of carefully selected natural ingredients.
The Mackie’s of Scotland website at www.mackies.co.uk is also to be redesigned and developed as part of the project and both websites will be content managed using the one CMS.
Social media marketing and content sharing is an integral part of the new Mackie's of Scotland online presence, using Youtube, Twitter and Flickr to help spread the word.
With a website that is constantly changing with fresh new content, users have a reason to revisit! In this way the site naturally builds authority and brand awareness through an increased number of users and return visits.
